Correct !
The local one was my nominated chemists for just over eight years. Can't fault the staff, who made certain I got what was required. Not all common medications, some newer ones in later years. I moved from the one attached to the doctors, to them, when they refused to get one lot of medication on the grounds that I was the only one they were getting it for. Not worth their time, or effort.

Went in early April here.

In an effort to avoid the mad rush for the ferry that I had on Saturday, I am now sat in Brodick far too early but at least it's less stressful.

I expect it will be another nice day once the mist burns off but it's actually quite cold at the moment. I was packing up last night and wondering why I had brought a woolly cap but actually pleased I did!

Ride ridden. It's still a bit nippy due to the N Easterly wind..

Flaming June? 🔥

Flaming June?:laugh::laugh: I've got a jumper and the heating on. :cold:

Cool, overcast and grey here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept, but only ok-ish as I still feel tired. Have had a quiet morning doing chores. This afternoon will be a bit more lively as I've got some rather tired-looking fruit that needs to be dealt with. That will result in a strawberry compote and the beginnings of a small batch of experimental orange & strawberry marmalade. Part of the compote will then be diverted into a Bakewell tart that I shall bake tomorrow, which will use up the rest of the pastry that's lurking in the fridge.

I also plan on investigating the throttle issue on the mower. So far, I have established that the choke still works normally, so that's at least something. I suspect that the cable may have stretched over time and just needs nipping up a bit, but I won't know for sure until I take the air filter off, and the cowling on the side of the engine.

Anyways, it is time for luncheon and I has a hungry.

Mixed up weather today.
Started overcast but about midday the wind direction went back to NE and sun made an appearance.
Got kitted up with bikesters rather than shorts and put a jersey and windproof on top to go for a trike run.
Not too warm.
Even more traffic than usual which sadly will probably be the norm from now on.
No molehills to he seen anywhere and I would have expected them by now at the roadside.
An enormous cruise ship has arrived but is too big or too timid to come into the bay so has anchored out in the Sound. The shuttle vessels are competing with the local boats for landing space as they put passengers ashore to go off on tour buses. I cannot understand why people are so keen on getting the things as in our experience they spend very little money in the town and get bused off to castles and suchlike.
A seasonal Himalayan Exhibition has arrived for the summer and has hired the Masonic Hall. Bit of a con as it is in fact just a pop up shop but they do little damage to local businesses.
I notice that anywhere to stop for a nice view it is blocked by a tree ( the view that is). This is too consistent to be accidental and is probably done to stop vehicles stopping in passing places.
I did take one photo but had to wait quite a while to get an empty road and view of a Mishnish Loch. A touroid was spinning for trout to my left which is specifically against the rules as the loch is stocked. Fly only.

Yesterday Mrs 73 notice some little white bits on the floor near the back door. She wept them up and not taking much notice that was that.
When I went to take the dog out this afternoon I notice a pile of white shavings on the back door sill near one of the slots. Looking closely I spotted something moving and trying to get it's head out. It was still inside later this afternoon, so how to get it out?
1st started making the slot wider with a stannel knife the bottom part was easy but moving the top the blade kept slipping. So not fancying it ending in me. I ended up having to drill slowly making the hole bigger each time. Until the hole was big enough.
The result was worth it , How it ended up in the door is a mystery , 1st moved to a nearby poppy to come round i've just moved it the long border near plenty of flower to feed on. Which looks to be working out fine what happens it's got a better chance outside then trapped in the door.
