I have a certain amount of sympathy for Prince Harry which is unusual!
What we are hearing about him at the moment is being brought to us by the press so can be edited to give their side of the story .

MrsPete & I are going to Market Harborough today. I was thinking of saying that I'd ride up the Brampton Valley Way, Sustrans 6, and meet her there but that thought, we're it to leave my brain and exit my mouth, would be as popular as flatulence in a phone box.
We'll drive there instead..

A disappointingly weak mug of coffee to start the working day - there wasn't enough for a full cuppa, but it wasn't worth opening a fresh pack either. The next one in a couple of hours will be a proper, full strength caffeine hit.

Needless to say the grey, breezy & cool conditions continue.

I'm up. It's ♻ & Garden Bin Day today.
If you're the first in your street to put the bin out you are entitled to wear this tee shirt. If not, you've been binfluenced.

Cloudy but the sun is breaking through.
Slept in this morning and could still be in bed but I forced myself to get up as there are all sorts of things to attend to.
A bit envious of the yotties anchored down the Diorlinn which I can see from my windows. Lovely peaceful spot.
There is a small bay on one side which for some unknown reason they do not use but we used to go down there for lunch some days. You need to know where to anchor tho' as there is a fishing boat wreck which was towed there and "accidentally" sank while at anchor.
The local fishermen were a ruthless bunch sometimes and one abandoned boat was towed out into the Sound and accidentally sank in one of the deepest parts. This was a few years ago and the skipper who towed it out has died of old age.
Feeling a bit depressed these days so must go and do something useful.

We went down to the opticians this morning . It is a good job my wife came with me as they put some stuff in my eyes to dilute them . Things are still a bit blurry at the moment . The other day after a cycle ride I thought that I had something in one as I could see a dark green floater in my vision . It turns out to be a posterior vitreous detachment.
