Went up to visit my wildlife pal who needs a bit of light relief as his wife died recently and his sister not long after so he is up the his ears in paperwork.
We set the world to rights and particularly Calmac’s new booking and ticket system. He does not have a smartphone and says he has no intention of getting one and is not going to carry his iPad around. They sent out an email telling everybody a particular ferry had been cancelled but he was nowhere with wifi so did not get it. Ructions when he arrived at the terminal.
His large garden is filling up and I got a cucumber to take home.

The guy I sold the GTech bike to seems pleased and sent a gift of biscuits via his mother who was in the area. A lot of them seem to have vanished somewhere.

I made reference earlier to Highland Games and this photo is in fact Dalmally agricultural show.
Herself is watching a model aircraft flying around. Note the welly boots compulsory for Dalmally.
We sold a lot of cotton shirts at these events and we tailored the stock to suit the expected customers. Dry socks were much in demand there.

Still raining - BBQ looking unlikely

Scorchio again here chez Casa Reynard.

I have resurfaced from keeping tabs on the Le Mans 24 hours - the Radio Le Mans commentary was very enjoyable, as was (for a largely non-aligned fan) the race.

In other news, I won an auction on the 'bay for a Tissot Seastar "lobster" watch. Been after one of these for a while, and this one came complete with its original bracelet. Got it a good bit below what I'd budgeted for, so happy, especially since most tend to get separated from the bracelet. I can live with the nicks on the bezel.

Also got a mozzie bite on the little finger of my left hand. Itchy!!!
