Grand prix listened to, pizza ated, tea drunked.
Bay of E auction for an early 1980s Longines watch watched. Was right, it did end up being a bunfight but didn't go for as much as I thought it might. Did they even notice it was a gold case? Someone got a nice bargain, I think.
A Longines is an itch I want to scratch as dad's is too big to wear and has issues anyways, but am still working out what references I like and what ones I don't. I was in two minds about this one - striking and interesting, but not quite my taste.

Useless bit of info. I received my MEng degree in the same ceremony Trevor Bayliss got an honorary engineering degree. He joined us for the buffet afterwards and spent time chatting with all of us. A lovely, warm and kind man.
