Train came and I got on without getting too wet because it stopped raining. It was a minute late so everything was as usual.

Well that's better than what I saw.
I was reading the thread about the submarine which sank and the next advert about a cruise by a company which began with the word Ocean !

Hah!

A neighbour's former half-Siamese used to come in, eat the girls' food, piddle on the furniture and break into my greenhouse to help himself to the catnip. A right little sod!

OTOH, I used to have a cat who used to go and visit another neighbour. He'd wait outside their front door, singing the song of his people until he was let in. He'd eat their cat's food, use his litter tray and keep them (and the three kids) company while they ate their breakfast. When they moved out, he did the same with the next lot of neighbours. Except they didn't have a cat LOL.

We once were adopted by a neighbours cat. We were asked to feed him when she was away and he came to our house for a while. When she came back he was moved back but if we were away he sat in her window and when he saw us returning he was out and into our house in a flash. Eventually she moved to a care home and we ended up with the cat. :notworthy:

Thundery showers and a brisk wind today.
Looked out when I got up and a hedgehog was wandering across the grass at the holiday home. First one I have seen for ages but anything could be up in my top wilderness/garden. There are certainly lots of places for them to hide and hibernate.

Nothing particularly urgent to do today but I must get out and look at he world as I have been constrained by the parking problems over the weekend.
