Who's going to enforce the tough legislation? A lot of the current legislation doesn't get enforced.

Working on the till in Halfords any product which had solvent in came up with an age challenge thing . If you thought that the person looked under 18 you would have to ask for proof that they were old enough . The store and myself could get done for selling solvent based products to under age people .
What numpties write laws these days whereby children can be given dangerous products free?

Constant drizzle, the sort that doesn't look much but quickly soaks. Very wet brolly from a 1.2 mile walk upwards by 130ft, back from the car repair garage.

Another Amazon delivery anticipated unexpectedly. Ordered protective covers for the keyring Bluetooth things (having separately taken up the makers offer on a couple more), a High 5 tube and a pair of nail brushes last night on whenever postage and for some reason they they are delivering the nail brushes today as a free priority delivery. Unlike most which seem to fall apart or wear down rapidly these, Hydrea London, ones seem to last for ages but figured one in the bathroom and not just the kitchen would be an idea but they only seem to sold in pairs.

One of these days I'm going to invest in some decent nail brushes - ones with bristles that don't go limp on contact with water.

Normal coffee service is resumed today. The first one was good enough to make me immediately make a second one.

Theres nothing to stop a child sending an older relative or friend in to buy the stuff for them

Perhaps a bit of stealthy unplugging !

They apparently plug in their room in B&B and run a long extension out the window and holiday homes are not supervised.
I wonder about bike batteries but they should be ok at least in my case the battery can be taken indoors and is not as large.
A Norwegian ferry company has banned EV vehicles on their ferries in case of fire which is more difficult to deal with than most other types of blaze. A bit of debate on FB here but Calmac say no problem.

Primary school sports day has been cancelled due to the weather. It is like winter out there just now.
My wee nurse Debbie has primary age kids so she was up to date on this but must have child care arrangements to get to work sticking needles into people.
She also tells me I am fit for my age. If this is fit I would hate to be unfit.
We were working out my survival chances of a TAVR operation and I rate it at 50% but she puts it a bit higher.

Amazon product ASIN B00S46AQCYView: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00S46AQCY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Were recommended in a review which IME seems to be correct.
Just noticed they do sell them individually but at £5.99 so £9 for two is a better buy.

Thanks. Interesting - exfoliating strength 5 (coarse)! I don't do Amazon but Hydrea London stock them at £4.99. Hydrea London, of course are based in Slough and are a brand of the Natural Sea Sponge Company. I wonder how much sea sponge they manage to harvest on the Slough Interchange industrial estate.

Found some in Oxford but it was fossilized! Would have been a bit hard scrubbing your back with that !
