I managed to fit in 25 miles and only got one shower.

I ate the microwave dinner I got on yellow sticker earlier. The roast beef was like chewing up a Pirelli.

It's the jazz and blues weekend in town so I've gone out to see what music I might find and have found a country band.

Indeed. Sunburnt toes is one of the worst tortures you can inflict on yourself. Don't ask me how I know that!

It was the Speed Weekend (Hot Rod World Championships and British or European championships for other short oval formulas) at Foxhall Heath this weekend. I knew nothing about this until I cycled past the stadium this afternoon and heard the sound of race engines - Hot Rods judging by the revs/noise.

Yep, that'll be the Spedeweekend. Quite often the National champs for Superstox held on that weekend too - or at least it used to be.

I had occasion to use the lavatories in the south bound Tibshelf Services today.
That is mundane. No doubt about it.

However in the midst of mundanity one can be confronted the things which appear bizarre.
I went in, passed by the urinals, entered a cubicle and noticed immediately a bin at the side of the toilet. Odd l thought😕.
Sat down and on the back of the door was a large poster headlined with the words (something like)

SO YOU HAVE STARTED YOUR PERIOD

It didn't sink in right away.
Wait a minute thinks l...... advice on periods.... a bin at the side of the lavatory....? ? OH SH*T. I'm in the ladies. (Never mind that l had just walked passed the urinals).
Out l went pdq and was relieved to see two blokes, back to me using the facilities.
So it was the gents after all.

Woke services l wonder.
