Oi - not so much of the old. I had one of those mileometer thingies on my bike in my youth and I'm not yet eligible for a senior rail card.

I had one, then when I got my Road Ace when I was 16, I got one of those 'fancy' Avocet Computers

Good morning from Suffolk where it's another bright & breezy morning. Coffee has been drunk and I suppose I'd better get moving as it's domestics day.

Second cuppa went down well earlier.
What I thought was a fly is actually workmen further up the street.
All looks grey outside but dry

Coffee break time. Bedding changed, washed and on the line to dry. Vacuuming done, front border weeded and mower removed from the shed ready to do the lawn once the coffee has been finished.

Still quite breezy which means any bike ride later will just be a short one.

PX delivery arrived. Bar bag delivered - it will take my trainers and civvy clothing and a few other bits, so that will have me sorted for a two day Pennine Bridleway ride at the end of the month.

I had one of those Tick tick ones.Changed it for a mile recorder a pulley fitted to the wheel spindle and a rubber band ran from that to the cyclometer Worked quite well until it rained. If my memory serves me correctly it could be zeroed Can’t remember the make

As I thought it may heavy rain came a few minutes into afternoon dog walk so we both got a bit wet.
