Err on the side of caution and have steak and chips with a pint of Guinness just on case. :okay:
Pizza and coke it was, provided by local takeaway (I live only once so I don't mind junk food occasionally).

Co-op had given me a 50p off Kelly's ice cream voucher so I was expecting them to have gone back up in price but no still £3. Seems to have been something of a run on them as a result with no honeycomb left so bought a raspberry ripple instead.
The 30+ mph gusts have gone just in time for an ebike ride for bananas, the Co-ops being too green, which saw no emergency stops needed for a dog but one for a diagonal walking pedestrian.

Wagyu burger*, fried onions, roasties done with sausage dripping, and a salad. Plus a flat peach for afters.

*absolutely banging. Would pay the full whack for these if I fancied them again. Couldn't finish a whole one as they were 6-and-a-bit ounces each, and very rich.

Like the sound of a wagyu burger as never tried one. Love burgers with loads of gherkin and Frenches mustard for some reason, ooh, and melted shropshire blue, yum :hungry:

This was the first time I'd had wagyu. The burger was butter-soft and so tasty. Less is more with these, I think.

I've seen wagyu steaks in Aldi (the burgers were "new" in Tesco), and I'm now planning on giving them a whirl.

Back from a surprisingly wet evening's racing; the 3/4 below turned into a three-rider break who were caught after the primes and then went onto finish 1-2-3 anyway. Son no. 2 was second then first in the primes (photo below), winning beer (no use as none of us drink alcohol) and 3rd overall:

Aaaaargh! I want to use Paypal for something, but I can't get into my account. Haven't used it in ages. Verification needs to come through a mobile number, but I've a new number after falling out with Virgin and moving to Tesco mobile, and I'm being sent round in circles.

I can't verify my account because I've not got the number I registered it with, and because I've got a new phone number, I can't get into my account to change it. :cursing:

Flaming busy days at work - doesn't half put reading CycleChat back by a few hours. Yet another day of somebody elses technical glitch last week causing us more problems - especially when the responsible department denies all knowledge until we provide evidence and insist that they investigate.

Other than that, not a bad day in that I missed all the rain (it started 5 minutes after I got home) and I was able to show another team exaclty where the 8 pallets of stored goods were that they couldn't find - right in front of them with the labels facing forward

It may be easier to set up a new account and just let t'other one fade away.. (unless you have any money stashed in it, that is)
