I'm thinking about having a play with some Sturmey hubs to tomorrow to see if I can put the internals of a modern one into the hub shell of an older one. Probably not but only one way to find out.

Some of the alloy hubs have a different thread to the older steel hubs. Get round that problem and there's every chance they'll fit.

I had to get up in the night, as I was about to leave the bedroom I heard my wife say "There's no water!" I thought she was dreaming . Sure enough there wasn't any water. Now how did she predict that ?
