Npt very good weather for the flying displays at Fairford. I thought that I might pop out that way to see what's going on but not in this weather .

Another damp start with low cloud rolling down the shoreline on the other side of the Sound and a bit of drizzle on this side.

FB this morning complaints about a rowdy bunch of touroid making a lot of noise and vandalising shop signs after closing time.

Another pair are coming with two small dogs and are worried about sea eagles.
Advice is to tie sandbags of at least 5Kg to each one as sea eagles are restricted to 5Kg lifting weight.
Others say they should be more worried about them being carried away by our local breed of ticks.
And so the advice continues.

My wildlife pal was talking to a sea eagle fan who denied they carried lambs away and as they stood talking a sea eagle came past -- carrying a lamb. Collapse of that theory but no recent evidence of small children being lifted tho' there is a story about a child being rescued from a nest in Shetland sometime in the past.

Good morning from a dull &overcast Suffolk where we've had a couple of light rain showers. The tentative plans I'd made for today have already gone out of the window as it's raining out west where I was going to go, and there's more heading in that general direction. I think it's going to be a case of have breakfast,a second cuppa and see what track the rain takes on the radar as there's a slight chance it may stay dry if I head northish parallel to the coast.
