Good morning from an overcast Leeds. The first cuppa of the day was a very unsatisfactory mug of instant coffee so it's off into the city centre for breakfast and a better coffee. Then it's time to head home with the joys of a rail replacement bus between Peterborough & Ely to look forward to,

I always wonder why cafes feel the need to put beans in a stupid little bowl. Why not just put them on the plate?

Overcast and breezy. Ebikes normal Saturday trip to Waitrose devoid of the Varia (flat battery). Seemed a heavy rucksack for the little I had bought - the free Times and store newspaper turned out to be 800g in weight. Coffee and biscuit then first wash load of the day to put out.

I left my freezer door open last night. This will determine my food this weekend as I empty it ready for a defrost.

oh good thought! great hobby (for most of my life)! but we know they are planning for a cat. I'll bet they bought a cat tree, those can be expensive

Mrs 73 is back from her covid jab now she's off to take Charlie to vets he's ben a bit off it for a few weeks. Nothing really you can put your finger on. Just something not right , he looks to be drinking a bit more but not more often so hard to say.

Not quite what with notice period and waiting for all the clearances to come back. It's been over 3 months in the making and it makes practical sense to start on a Monday.
