I managed to get out on my bike this afternoon. The roads weren't bad but the river was in full flood and both bridges at Lacock were closed to traffic . I went out on my Orbit Italia and did 12 miles. The first time on a bike this year.

Just received a phone call from next door neighbour that a couple of scrotes have attempted to break into the house two doors down (Anne was not in at the time)
By coincidence, the son had turned up just as they were smashing through the conservatory door..
Police were called and they arrived within 10 minutes! I checked our cameras, front & rear, but nothing untoward shows up.

Nope. Son chased them up the road but (possibly luckily, knowing what some of these scrotes are like) didn't catch up with them.

It is getting lighter out . A large grey storm cloud which was to the south has now drifted west leaving a beige and light blue sky. There is no frost about .
