Well it looks like the vertigo has gone away for the weekend. So i have done some jobs.Friday was weeding the driveway and the parking area.Today a mega job cleaning the grout and silicone inside the shower. It is not perfect but gone is the yellow colour and some mould on the silicone.I would like it replaced, then i have edged and cut the lawn finally swept the garage out that was messy and dusty. All in all a great result and no vertigo.I was told it would go i wonder if moving my head is like doing the exercises and the crystals have gone back.

I have a bag of gravel in the back of my car that needs moving to the greenhouse.
As it won't move itself, it looks like I've got to do it!

Had a lot of domestic stuff to get done so only got a short trip outside. Weather was a bit mixed so naturally I managed to get a patch when it was pouring rain. As soon as I got back home the sun came back out.
A bit of activity at the marina but mostly short trip boats doing a run round the bay to look at seals on Calve Island. A couple of the longer distance ones out also but it is still a bit cold out on the water and Calmac are putting out warnings about possible wind disruption to ferry times.
Too early for yachts to be out mostly and generally they get dragged screaming into the water by mid June. From my own experience it was a waste of time putting my boat out on a mooring before then as there were no fish around to catch and sailing could be a penance rather than a pleasure. Having said that we went diving all year round and I remember driving our RIB in hail showers. The water temperature fell to around 4C so diving was restricted by temperature rather than time. We still got scallops tho' which we sometimes went after rather than scenic dives.

My Yaris failed test due to a tiny bit broken off one of the rear coil springs. Minor detail really, it's amazing how easy and cheap it's been to look after compared to that stupid Fabia.

New springs may not be cheap. My front ones for the Peugeot were nearly £250 just for the parts.

They seem very reasonable looking at eBay but I'll try the local motor factors first, or maybe try a breaker's yard but in my experience they often charge the same price as new.

The back springs in a Yaris are only one grade up from what you find in a biro so aren't dear.

Actually managed to stay dry until 5 then bucketed down. A bit more weeding of the rear lawn done and a quantity of messages from presumably some cat found. Pretty sure they were not there when I cut it on Thursday. A . neighbour has a new male cat so wondering if it's marking it's territory. Ordered a new cat repellent, the RSPB recommended one that apparently works a lot better running off a 12v supply. Plenty of 12v adapters on the loft (I hope) so an almost duplicate Aldi trek to B&Q to look at the outdoor cables. Only had 2 core in orange but a quick look at Google and then eBay revealed black cheaper and as such subsequently ordered.

I don't know what the weather was like down here during the rest of the day, but it was a lovely late afternoon when I got home - to nice to spend indoors so I got the bike out and did a quick 12 mile loop in the sunny, warm and blustery conditions.

The overnight bag has been unpacked and re-stocked with fresh clothing and snacks ready for the next couple of days. I'm still undecided about a waterproof or just warm jacket with Monday's forecast.
