Was some rain when I got up but it dried up and is bright and sunny now.
I saw an original 1990s model Hyundai Lantra on this morning's perambulation. Hadn't seen one in many years but it looks in good condition. I wonder how it survived.

Looks to be a reasonable day with some sunshine and light winds.
Being pursued by Specsavers since it is 2 years since my last eye test and they wish to tell me I need to pay for new specs.
The nearest I can get with my car to Oban is probably early June so I phoned to make an appointment.
Cannot be done as that diary window is not yet open and try again in a couple of weeks.
Whatever did we do wrong to get so tied up by computers?
Calmac have been quiet for a few days so who knows what disasters are around the corner?
Since it is nearly impossible to get a day trip by car to Oban I must go down to the local office and see if Michelle can pull any rabbits out of the hat for me. Failing that I may try a day trip by non bookable ferry to Fort William for shopping but all that will have to wait until the present touroid madness has died down as the ferry will be clogged up for the music festival.

Good morning from a currently wet and grey Suffolk as the second rain shower of the morning is in progress. Just finished the first coffee of the day which was delayed due to preferring the warmth of a duvet to the chill of the kitchen.
