The much-missed Madam Poppy once pushed a jar of pickled beetroot off the work surface in the kitchen. With much the same results.

My salad was in a plastic container so at least I didn't end up with broken glass in amongst the gore....

Georgie has had his breakfast and gone out.
I came across a young Blackbird in our garden last night. I was pouring water into a bowl and happened to see it sitting next to me. I asked it what it was doing and it walked off to hide under some plants. It was quite big. I was surprised that it didn't fly off.

As there is more and more housing being built around the country some of it seems to have halted around here. I was talking to my brother about it last night and he thinks that it is the "Free Market Economy "at work. Workers are being offered more money by other companies and are going there.
