Got battered for it I understand..
Went to Boots and right outside the main entrance a guy was smoking weed. I thought I will throw up into his shoes - I hate weed smell.
On the other note I managed to sort out hospital appointment. It was indeed booked after a year so it wasn't just a typo. Got another time which is a day later than the previous one but this time year is 2024 so after a week. Also having a phone number of the ward meant I only needed one phone call instead of "don't know, phone this number/can't help, phone that number/can't help at all/please choose one of the following 200 options".

Packing the pannier and rucksack this morning for a day in the office. Lunchtime blood test, now wheres the form from the hospital... Conclusion either well hidden or mistakenly thrown out with a newspaper.
First destination then the hospital for a new form and as soon as I approached the bike shed it started raining.
Abandoned the pannier and rucksack in the kitchen and made use of the car. Horribly slow crawl truncated by rat running.
New form acquired and back home by which the rain, which at times had seriously exercised the wipers, had ceased.
Ebike thus had another day in the work bike shed.
Lunchtime post bloods revealed another possible food shortage with M&S and Asda both having just three loose bananas each.
Ride home encountered a right turning car driver giving way to everyone turning left at a mini roundabout, then the usual sadly headless chicken reaction in response to the bike bell by a pedestrian of moving straight in front of me inside of to one side. Avoided.

got a flue shot in my left arm 2 weeks ago, that arm turned black & blue. on the same day I got a covid shot in the right arm, no bruising, go figure

Evening cuppa went down well.
During a bit of fettling earlier this evening i noticed a High On Bikes unopened box so just opened it and inside was a brand new set of mk 3 crud racer's so ideal for the Allez

back home minus the car.Someone hit us today he came flying out of a side street onto a main road and whack.So one paramedic,four firemen and five police,came to the scene it also seems we made to local radio show.Postman not a scratch just knocked my knee,but Mrs P seatbelt has done some right bruising.Got to say HIS insurance have been brilliant already and he also owned up.Mrs P in bed Postman is having a beer.Goodnight all.
So last night we could not face driving home from Manchester due to diversions and constant roadworks.So we stayed in a Premier Inn.We had a fab morning and breakfast.With staying over it gave me more time to paint.Or so we thought 08-15 we got whacked in the car,so i was very late getting to the house.This painting has not been an enjoyable experience too much rushing and putting right before the actual painting,anyway two carpets go down tomorrow and i also have a new date for my hernia op 23 October.Thats all folks goodnight.
