Had a lovely supper of turkey & vegetable soup, then lamb in a garlic & mint gravy, clapshot and braised red cabbage. Madam Lexi had felix AGAIL with beef.

Listened to the North London Derby - yay, good result for us against the Spuds! And spent three hours in a very interesting web chat with Scott Stringfellow.

Finished the ink drawing for the Swift DB4 FF2000 car. A good place to stop. Ergo the fire has been banked for the night, and I'm now tucked up in bed with the non-furry hot water bottle and editing some writing.

Morning.
It is dark and foggy out. It was foggy last night as we went to collect another bike.
I found a tiny puncture in my inner tube. I don't think it was one I missed earlier but one I picked up on my ride. I think large agricultural machinery is churning up the edges and throwing all sorts of rubbish onto the roads.

Good morning from a grey and overcast Suffolk. Coffee has been had with the biscuit of choice being a custard cream having finished the shortbread fingers.
A slow day is in prospect - I've got enough milk in for breakfast so the first thing to do after that is to pop out and get some more. The latest lot of rail tickets (can't have etickets with bike reservations) will also be picked up on the way home. A decision as to the afternoon's activities (or lack of) will be made after lunch.

Yesterday's p*ncture has been fixed.. Tiny little hole and no pointy thing through the tyre could be found.. I don't know why the Slime didn't plug it yesterday when I pumped it up!

I get an almost unobstructed view of the park outside my bedroom. Just now, there were 9 magpies on the grass. This apparently is a kiss according to the song. Incidentally, there were no people in the park.

At least Tik Tok can pay good money, unlike many "careers" in The States. Tik Tok just lets more people be entertainers,
instead of just amusing to family and friends. Cap Cut is owned by ByteDance as well, but I hear no talk of banning that. And the Chinese are just moving people over to Red Note if they want, so out of the frying pan and into the fire. And American sites are so contentious about things (including bicycles) that I had to come here to find sensible discussion.
