I'm nearly up.

Morning.
It seems to be greying over a bit. It looked promising earlier.
I'm not sure if I could manage a ride after yesterday. I was doing well until I nearly started falling over. I only know when I have done too much when it is too late. I suppose I had better rest but there is still some of our yucca tree still lying in the front garden. Rain might stop play.

It's getting warmer: Germany seems to have got the memo about Spring...

can news be more mundane than this?

from my weekly weather records taken every sunday our second warmest high for a week in February

(and the march one gets a mention as most of that week is in february)

Nothing very much exciting on the weather front, 4mm of rain, 746 miles of wind
ground temperature may of past its low point, 6.3° (6.0° 2 Feb) last year low ebb was 5.6° on the 21st Jan.

and so far this year
Car has done 1,107 miles
my Van has done 541 miles
and my bike has done 1,033 miles

so the wifes car just has it

I've never seen wind measured in miles before, only speed.

Good morning from an occasionally sunny Suffolk. Coffee has been had and a fresh pack of custard creams has been opened for the biscuity accompaniment.
Nothing much to do today, so I may do a bottle bank run and then call in at Lidl on the way home for some milk and to redeem a couple of free cake vouchers.

Silly winds do not appear to arrived yet. Unexpected morning visit to Sainsbury's. Last night there was a crunch underfoot as I mistakenly stepped on the sideways lying bathroom inner plastic bin, all that remains of the last bin.
Argos were listing a stainless steel one which has good reviews of having a fighting chance of not rusting compared to a chrome plated one.
Found it on the Habitat section shelving rather than having to order at the Argos desk.
The barcode label easily removed but the main descriptive label put up a fight and Sticky Stuff Remover was required to get rid of all traces.
