Back to work tomorrow (had 2 days off sick, one of which was overnight in hospital). I shall be working from home for the foreseeable and I won't be doing a full day given my pelvis issues. Blimmin NHS is very broken (as am I )

It's been a grey, not as mild and rather blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, with a bit of rain in the afternoon.

Did not sleep well thanks to back and lady issues. Hey ho. Had a bit of a lie in. This morning's primary task was clearing up last night's shopping, as other than the fridgeables, I'd left the rest in the boot of the car.

Today's task was to get a dismantled single wardrobe down from the attic as there is a community skip coming on Saturday, which will be almost opposite our house. Almost anything can put there and whatever can be recycled is sorted and taken away by lorry during the day.

Popped out for a little over an hour while the washing was on the whirlygig which was enough time for the breeze to dry the washing and me to have had enough of the headwinds encountered on the bike. All other little bits & pieces were also successfully completed so I treted myself to a little snooze before tea time.

This evening's hot cocolate has just been made.

Fabby supper of the last of the beetroot soup, then a jacket potato topped with the venison meatballs in shallot & mushroom cream sauce, and some roasted veggies (carrot, swede, parsnip, shallots & garilc) on the side.

There is a doughnut-type thing with my name on it for later.
