It is raining here and it looks like it has been heavy overnight. When I looked out of our window at about 1.30 this morning it was still clear yet our garden has started to flood and our rain gauge had 20 mm or rain in it.

Good morning from a 4th floor hotel room in overcast Brighton. It's not raining yet, but the radar shows it not far off. Today's view is of another wing of the hotel, the roof of the bar/dining area and the top of the i360 tower over The Brighton Centre.
Coffee has been had, but no breakfast yet - as the plan is to have a meal in Nottingham this afternoon, I'll either have a small Wetherspoons breakfast or grab a sandwich on the way to the rail station.

It's raining but it doesn't really look like winter rain. So that's a development.
Last night's clear sky gave me a chance to look at the planetary parade. I got as far as Venus, There was a flashing red light but I suspect it was a plane heading for Heathrow rather than Mars.
