I haven't thought of fitting them. I wonder how much down force they will generate?

Ernie failed to contribute this month. A day of more loud thumping noises; pity those living nearer to wherever the building work is going on. Pancakes a bit of a disaster. First mix binned as the ultra large frying pan despite being washed twice insisted on filling the mix with black bits. Now I know why new frying pans fill stores this time of year.

It's been a lovely sunny day here chez Casa Reynard after a foggy and frosty start.

Did not sleep well again, the old too hot, too cold, hip hurts when I'm pretzelled around the cat kind of tango. Never mind the x-rated dream that's been messing with my head LOL!

Had a choresy morning; cleared the ashes from the grate, restocked the wood in the house, and put the pork, ox heart and venison I bought yesterday in the freezer. Trimmed off some of the pork for Madam Lexi, who got it for her tea. Plus a friend turned up at lunchtime to pick up the fish and cheese that was her share of the pickings.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with corned beef, the other with the last of the buffalo mozzarella, plus some fruit and a :cuppa:

After, made my pancake batter. While the batter was resting, I went for a nice bicycular bimble with Maximillian the MTB. Was out for an hour in the sunshine, which was lovely. Stopped off on the way home to pick a bunch of pussy willow.

Made and ate pancakes - had them Belgian-style with butter and brown sugar. Lost track of how many I ate, but I think the parental unit outdid me! Just had a nice bowl of cullen skink.

Listening to PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal. The Gunners have just gone 3-0 up away from home. Now *why* couldn't we play like this against West Ham and Forest? Aaaaaargh!

I have a cast iron frying pan that only gets used for pancakes. It is at least 50 years old. It just gets wiped out after every use and put back in the cupboard.
