Unexpected day off work , i booked it last year and completely forgot i had and didnt know till friday when looking at the manning board before i left for the weekend .

putting the washing out and the pole snapped in the hole , luckily i can order the bit thats snapped off for £8 so at least i dont need a whole new washing line whirly gig .

For the third time in 10 days it's good morning from a hotel room in Leeds. A different hotel to the previous two visits and I'm on the second floor with a view of a sign gantry over the north west bound carriageway of the A65.
It's a lovely sunny start to the day and just right for a walk alongside the river into town to build an appetite for breakfast somewhere.
