Why do i bother. So i am on the bus coming home.At one stop two old ladies get off.As we move away,a passenger shouts they have left a shopping bag.i offer to get off and find them,it was easy they were older than me.But hey ho,it was not their bag.So i waited for the bus to return,it was a different bus,the driver would not take the bag.So i have it now.i have emailed FIRST BUS and put a message in the local FB page, next time there will not be a next time,i will look out of the window and whistle.

Yesterdays disasters, jacket excepted, transpired to included the Cafe Nero voucher which I had mistakenly activated so a flask taken with me.
Very long dose on the return home, a set of 2 way quick reacting traffic lights which have been advancing south at a pretty quick pace had moved whilst I was in Ripon and were now very slow changing 5 way including very long queues on the now affected A59.
Whilst out Evri had delivered the pole mount squirrel baffel. Rolled up it now rolled in reverse to hopefully flatten it.

Remember mum leaving her shopping on the bus. Phone call to them saw the bag transferred to one going in the opposite direction and me being send down to the bus stop to collect.

Phone saga continues.

Dodgy SIM card is now jammed in the phone and I can't get it out. It sometimes works, but not all the time. I've discovered resetting the phone makes it work again.

How did I discover this? Because the touch screen wasn't working, so in desperation I reset the phone, and it demanded a SIM code. Fortunately I'm used to this, so I have the SIM code in a safe and easily accessible place, all the time.

I am now writing phone numbers out by hand, so I still have access to the contacts when the phone dies with the SIM inside it, and the screen won't let me enter a PIN.

Again, I wonder why anyone keeps any remotely important information on their phone. I'll be keeping my rail and bank cards on nice safe pieces of plastic, thank you very much.

My work's sent out a security e-mail stating that they'll be running a series of dodgy e-mails to check whether we flag them correctly.

So I flagged the security e-mail as being dodgy ^_^

As a result the series of dodgy e-mails, presumably being sent from the same e-mail account, haven't arrived.

:okay:

But what of other emails from that address? Been in the black book for sending emails direct to the bin.
Evening Aldi trek primarily to dispose of a huge collection if recycle in store plastib bags.
Office tomorrow and looks like an early start to get a parking place as regardless of any rain a predicted gusting headwind to 41mph on the return doesn't appeal.

The June bank holiday is done and dusted for another year.

I did a sixty mile ride this morning, mostly on minor roads and very enjoyable. It did become really stormy on the return leg. In some ways, I did a reconnaissance ride for something I will be doing on Saturday. For once I let Google maps do it's thing and I found myself on roads I never knew existed, one was even unmetalled, and I barely saw a car all day.

I also had my usual Monday dance class tonight, so I think I have had adequate exercise for one day.

The weather is absolutely horrendous now, with wind and rain, and my umbrella and rain coat are dripping in the bath. If tomorrow morning looks like this, I might use a work from home day.
