It's been a really warm day here today chez Casa Reynard, cloudy at first, but then clear and sunny.
Slept well enough, but it took me ages to drop off last night. The last of the bread had developed language skills overnight (can anyone translate mouldish?), and so I made a batch of flatbreads. They cooked up a treat in the cast iron frying pan that I normally use to make pancakes. I also made a big tub of hummus.

Treated myself to some time in the garden with a book, but gave up after about 20 mins because it was too hot. So ended up doing a bit more work on the Reynard 893 drawing.
At teatime, I took myself off to town to do the food shop and to look for fly paper. No luck with the latter, although there's still a few places I can call in at to look. Had some decent YS buys in Tesco for a change.
Picked up a whole mackerel, three tubs of ricotta, two tubs of buffalo mozzarella, some squishy Langres cheese, cherry tomatoes on the vine, portobello mushrooms, three nets of Valencia oranges and two baguettes and four packs of crusty rolls from the in-store bakery.
Took some smoked salmon out of the freezer earlier, and we had that along with the fresh bread for supper.
A quiet evening is planned.
