Flick of the Elbow

It’s been quite wet this afternoon but looks to have brightened just now. Got out on my bike for a bit this morning, stayed mostly dry.
Using the Chromebook to cast the IMSA 6 hours to the TV. The race has 2 hours 35 minutes to go while the Chromebook has 1 hour 43 minutes of battery left. Time to find the charger and I might as well make an early hot chocolate while I'm up and about.
Tube of You?
Tradescantias potted on.
Not a particularly exciting day but I enjoyed it just the same. The overnight thunderstorm cleared the air and got of the horrific heat and humidity of the past few days. Feels much fresher now. My headache is gone and I feel much more energetic again.
Now in Lamlash after a riding from Tarbert (I used the ferry obviously for the water bit!).
The change in the weather from this morning has been unbelievable. Enjoying life on Costa del Arran

Pleased to see my Carradice panniers remained waterproof in this morning's deluge. They must be about 12 or 15 year old now and still perfect, apart from losing their black colour.
I'm sure there is probably something I should treat them with to restore the colour and make sure they remain waterproof. I must investigate.
Rolling total 310 miles since Monday. Going to have a really easy day tomorrow. I'll just ride to Brodick and hopefully the launderette there will be able to do some laundry for me and I'll visit the museum, the castle and the brewery whilst I'm there.

We stopped outside a pub in Brodick last year, I noticed it was called The Fallen Goat. It wasn’t until we were on the ferry home that the penny dropped with me![]()
