Anyways, I have *finally* finished the Reynard 893 drawing. And I've not made a pig's ear of it. And on that note, it's time to put the art stuff away and go and pill a cat.

I don't think I'll need bedclothes tonight! It's 32C in the living room but it feels cooler in the bedroom, where the thermometer shows 33C.

Cat pilling completed. After spending the best part of ten minutes scrabbling around on the kitchen floor looking for the pingfeckit bits of a Synulox tablet that sproinged while I was cutting it in half.

I was fine until I tried to click on a subject at the top of the page. Bl**dy advert kept opening up! I am using a touch screen and I was picking up the advert underneath!

I was on another site about learning to play a musical instrument. I was giving the point of view of a complete novice. What experienced people might forget is how difficult it was at the beginning. A bit like our memories of learning how to ride a bike. I can remember the first time that I discovered that I was riding and wasn't being held but what happened next? There must have been crashes, difficulty in balancing but it has all faded away.
I can remember Bert Weedon being on a children's programme back in the 60's teaching kids how to play the guitar. I found him to be so boring that he put me off wanting to play the guitar.
