Bl **dy Wombledon! Both BBC channels in the afternoon and on in the evening!

I must admit that tennis goes completely over my head. I'll be following the men's 2nd test match against India and then I might watch one of the opening matches in the women's Euros. Sport is hard to avoid at this time of the year.

A belated good morning from a much cooler Suffolk with grey skies and still damp underfoot due to overnight rain. A very good night's sleep thanks to the change in the conditions and it was a relief to not to wake up with bits of me sticking unpleasantly to other bits of me due to the heat.

Coffee has been had and I think today will be an indoor day with a mixture of domestics and possibly some bike fettling and cleaning to be done.

A long unbroken sleep was just what I needed. Rainy morning, sunny and stupidly windy once again afternoon. WAH till 5.15 having postponed going into the office till tomorrow. Having taken ages to find something that goes well with coffee ice cream, an answer being properly gooey chocolate brownies, I was just about to run out and Waitrose have sent a £1 off app voucher.

A mixed bag weatherwise here chez Casa Reynard, cool & drizzly this morning and warm & sunny this afternoon.

Slept well. Spent the morning in the company of a good friend and her dogs, walking around some local trails. It was cool enough to want a jumper, but the drizzle wasn't heavy enough to warrant any rain gear. TBH, what we had here in terms of rain didn't amount to very much at all, so I had to water all the planters after giving it a miss yesterday.

Sod's law we weren't going to get much rain if I didn't water everything LOL!

This afternoon was largely chewed up by having to ferry the parental unit to a routine quack's appointment. Not entirely wasted for me, as I parked up in a nice spot, listened to the tennis on the radio and sort of dozed. I kind of needed that bit of down time.

Green wheelie bin has been put out for collection. Still no black bag, just not enough in it.

Cat has been given her meds and has been fed. Soon it will be time to feed me.

Sunny evening Co-op trek. The return of most treks and cycle rides is along a path, no cycling restriction, that in that direction has a blind crossroads. I always slow almost to a stop on a bike but have seen another cyclist shout cyclist coming through and carry on without slowing. Tonight just as a got there a dog ambled across ball in mouth. Doubt the dog would understand the warning.

Thanks to the weather, today may be the first day in a long while that I've not exported any electricity to the grid from the solar panels.
With it being so grey and wet, a very productive indoor day has been had - bedding changed, washed and onto the clothes horse to dry, vacuuming done, kitchen floor mopped, the various treats purchased last week have all turned up and have been put away and (as per the fettling thread) various bike work done.
