Thanks to the weather, today may be the first day in a long while that I've not exported any electricity to the grid from the solar panels.
With it being so grey and wet, a very productive indoor day has been had - bedding changed, washed and onto the clothes horse to dry, vacuuming done, kitchen floor mopped, the various treats purchased last week have all turned up and have been put away and (as per the fettling thread) various bike work done.
Is that all!

There's still the dusting to be done and the windows to be cleaned, but that can wait until the next grotty day. Unless I go out for a beer instead.

It's now hot chocolate time.

A strange day from a weather point of view. A nice morning, some awful showers in the afternoon and then a really bright, sunny evening. It feels really hot and sticky though. I hate weather like this as it seems to affect my sinuses. A proper thunderstorm required!

Another largely mundane day at work. As I work for an American company, for some strange reason we celebrated July 4th on July 2nd and we got free ice cream 🍨

I did a bit more on my blog. I think I will take an early night.

Did a bit on a sewing project - namely making a bespoke "Cone of Shame" for a friend, as she really likes the wipe-clean vinyl one I sewed up for Madam Lexi.

Madam Lexi has had her evening tablet-and-a-half of Synulox.

Cutting the tablets in half *inside* a clear plastic food bag is very successful in preventing any pingfeckits from happening.
