Another dreich morning here. Just had my breakfast on a round plate. They had run out of white pudding so I was given an extra sausage.

I'm undecided what to do today!

30+ km circular to Isle of Whithorn and back.Got dribbled on at one point.
Mysterious about how the wind was against me in both directions.
Big thank you to the people who found my keys and rang me. I stopped to deal with the rattle from the pannier rack.
Realised that without the keys I was totally stuffed.

Up early today 07-30,we went to the Wedding venue.Woolas Barn Appleton Roebuck near York.Future in laws travelled up last night.Today there was a Wedding on and our son and fiance got an invitation to visit two hours before to see it set up in all it's glory.my word it was stunning,a massive barn the dining area was incredible all laid out for today's Wedding.we were also allowed to look at the outside of the farmers home and his private garden,my word what a different lifestyle from ours, the quietness the space the greenery. The Wedding is going to be amazing when it takes place, next visit for our Son is November when menu planning and food tasting takes place,i hope i get an invite to that  it is going to be a full roast. The guests will have a full day, wedding and meal and evening do,i have been to some where they get the wedding and evening do but miss out on the meal. Then we came back to Roundhay and had a pub lunch.

It's been a cool, blustery and mostly grey day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, but still working on something of a sleep deficit. A choresy morning, the highlights of which were putting away the non-fridgeable bits from last night's shopping, cutting another set of pieces for another buster collar, as the one I was given isn't terribly Lexi-proof, and cleaning up a puddle of cat sick.

Tea and toast for luncheon.

Other than that, I've had a quiet day - mainly watching various sports on the TV, doing a bit of writing and furkling about online looking for where I got some of the photos from that I'm cataloguing, as I neglected to make notes to that effect.

A lovely supper of homemade chicken, bacon, sweetcorn & chive pasta, with a tomato & avocado salad on the side.

Now watching the Lionesses play France.
