Good morning all, cloudy here but warm, a high of 20° is forecast.

Good morning fellow humans and any cats tuning in.
Sunny start to the day with a slight haze on the horizon, forecast of 25 degrees later.
First cuppa has been generated ready for consuming

Of course, it's *always* the human's fault in those circumstances. I'm lucky, Lexi is pretty catholic in her food tastes. Although she's not a fan of Whiskas or Sheba fine flakes, she'll eat pretty well much anything else.

I should add, that this is a cat who's been hungry in her life - she came from a hoarding situation.

She's also quite generous, she allows to me stay in her house, pay all the bills and clean up after her
Plus after I've served up her din dins, should I decide I fancy tuna for mine, upon the initial sound of the can opening, she's suddenly sat right behind me with a look that means I can't do anything but share.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's clear blue skies, sunshine and a large and very strong mug of coffee to start the day.

Very little to do today - vacuuming and then a ride into town to get some food for the next few days and the train tickets for tomorrow seems to be about it.

Out for my after work mid week ride this evening, fingers crossed I don't experience a rapid unscheduled disassembly of the air chamber 🤞

Staying in a holiday rental in Bempton. There’s an owl cam on the property, connected to the TV. Watching a pair of barn owls as we eat breakfast. Can see the adults on the platform outside the owl house

EDIT the nest box we can see is kestrels, now I’ve put the scope on them

3.35 inches of rain yesterday evening.

A surprise prize (i.e. I didn't know it was coming and it didn't have a letter included) arrived this morning: a load of gardening hand tools. With a bit of digging, cutting and pruning I've worked out where it was from

The vacuuming has been done and I've been out and picked up the shopping and the train tickets - just where did all those ladybirds come from? Not a swarm, but constantly bouncing off me or needing brushing off the jersey.

Next up is coffee and toast, then I'll see if I fancy doing anything or just sitting in the garden.

Off to an emergency hospital appointment for a poorly eye. Hopefully they won't just take it out, give it a quick clean and then pop it back in again.

1110pm here in Hongkers and the weather is wild. Quite the storm raging just now. 😱

25 miles ridden around the bottom of the town to visit granddaughter then to Duston drop some brake pads off, at a mates, that don't fit my calipers.
It's quite hot & sweaty out today 🔥
