I put my blue (recycling) wheelie bin out for emptying in the morning.
AND the black bag finally got put out. It's still only half full after seven months, but it's attracting flies, so it's gotta go.

The earlier flat tyre has been fixed - yet another thorn embedded in the tyre just enough to put an easily located small hole in the tube. Having fixed that I treated myself to an hour in the deck chair in the garden with the radio, magazine & a pint of squash.
Time for this evening's hot chocolate and while it's being nuked I'll also prepare the drinks bottles for tomorrow's outing. One may go in the freezer overnight in the hope of still having a slightly chilled drink after a couple of hours.

Another largely mundane day completed. Weather very hot at the moment. Too hot really for my tastes.
Another day at work completed. My supervisor is 40 today. I suppose it's a sign of getting old that all my recent supervisors have been younger than myself! At least I got a slice of cake.
I should have gone for a bike ride after work but I've procrastinated and I've been sorting photos and doing some writing.
I will probably go to bed soon for an early night.

Sunny here and warm outside already. There is going to be a ride from here and I'm already questioning why we are going the distance. About 9 miles out to some cafe. My point is is that we will be returning at the hottest time of the day into the sun. I would prefer to do our normal easy 12 mile route and be back home before we got too hot.

Ofcom are going to allow Royal Mail to deliver 2nd class mail on alternate week days.
