Good morning all, cloudy but very warm here, last night was too warm for sleeping, it’s not often that happens in Eastern Scotland. A high of 23° forecast today and 25° tomorrow and Saturday

Good morning from an already warm and sunny Suffolk. An early coffee has been had as I'm off on a ride out for lunch and train home today. Setting off in a little over an hour to avoid the worst of the heat and hoping to find some shade outside or an air conditioned interior at the destination.

I'm on the Royal Mail panel and am paid in stamps. Yep, @postman - I'm one of those that secretly reports on deliveries . Does that count?

I think having a cat is great if you're looking to lose a little weight, especially if you're keen on fish, you'll never get a full meal to yourself

When I 'worked' for Royal Mail at the end of the last millennium, 1st Class had to be back at the depot by 15:00. That was then trunked all over the country to be delivered the next day.

The golf course grass cutter opposite started early this morning, so I'm awake since 6am.

Why can't they start on the other side? Why always start on mine?

Ofcom are going to allow Royal Mail to deliver 2nd class mail on alternate week days.

That will be an improvement!

We don't have First Class mail, despite paying for it.

A question... The law says that, when out with a dog, a means of clearing up 💩 must be carried. .
Does that mean you have to carry 2 poo bags because after the first offering has been picked up you will have no way of retrieving any second helpings..

You're expected to be carrying more than one round these parts.
Fines have been issued for having only the one.

Just checked, and whilst it's not illegal it's not recommended. Action can be taken by the council to repeated claims.
Recommended hours being 8am 'til 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am 'til 5pm on Saturdays.
