60 miles, 3 pints and 1 pizza
Suppose I'd better think about making my way to Norwich train station

I once made the mistake of stopping at a pub for beer & chili at the turnaround of a long bike ride. it was a questionable bike ride back to my car & then home

Emergency plumber is here because of a water leak. My house is starting to resemble a Swiss cheese, but at least he's found the leak.

Afternoon work visits and thankfully for the only one whch meant leaving the car parked for any duration I found a parking space in the shade of a tree on the opposite side of the road. Cool bag taken with me and the Ripon Aldi provided a bag of salad leaves dated Sunday but disappointingly the Simply Food had no Cheese and Onion rolls.
Back home trying to send pictures to the work pc my phone was weird and Gmail would not come up with my email address as the sender. Apps to update did not list Gmail but once those had been completed Gmail behaved itself.

That's why any of these type of rides are one way only with the destination having to have a train station within 1/2 mile and preferably downhill.

It's been a hot and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well. A gentle morning was had. Main chore was adding extra support to my tomatoes and watering all the planters. I've also spent some time doing the thumbnails for my photo catalogue and I put away the collapsible show pen.

Madam had her first post-op follow up this afternoon. The vet was really pleased with how well she's healing - especially for a cat of her age, and given that it wasn't a trivial surgery. Her leg is coming on well, but her undercarriage is still rather bruised and swollen, but no problems with the incision. I've been instructed to bathe that with some warm saline to keep the area clean, as Madam is sweating a bit where things are a bit lumpy and bumpy still, and where the skin folds in on itself. It will improve as the swelling goes down.

We used the dedicated cat waiting area, as there were quite a few boisterous dogs around, and it was just quieter. Lexi doesn't mind dogs at all, but things did get a bit bouncy and barky.

Have spent the time since I got back reading a bit and doing some writing.
