Morning all, grey start to the day round these ‘ere parts.
Neck is painful again, might pop along to Warwick Castle and see if I can have a go on a torture rack, straighten things back out
First cuppa has been constructed and scheduled for consumption :cuppa:

I've had a rather mundane day. Finished work at 1:30. I went for a walk around town and got a few bits and pieces that I needed.

I bought a packet of envelopes in the stationery shop. A different brand from my usual, which were sold out. They're described as "superior" envelopes. Not immediately obviously why they are superior, but they cost more. They maybe have slightly thicker paper, but on the other hand, I need to lick them to seal. Haven't seen that in years.

I then attempted to tidy up my flat and created a bigger mess! It can wait until morning!

I find that with tidying. There's a point where, whilst tidying, things are at their very worst. Just have to persevere.
Then you can enjoy the sunny uplands of tidiness.

I was thinking about how to make the most out of these solar farm fields. People in favour of them say that they provide shelter for wildlife underneath them but they can't due to all the sheep using the fields.
What I thought is that they could use the power from the solar panels to provide heat and light so that they could grow late flowering geraniums underneath them and so provide a useful crop. Provided the sheep and wildlife don't eat it all.

Maybe just not use good arable land in the first place?
But that's more of a discussion for the Other Place, possibly.

Pity it never stays that way very long!

Good morning from a nicely warm Suffolk where a little bit of cloud has started to encroach on the morning's sunshine. Coffee has been had while listening to the radio and doing as little as possible. The rest of the day will probably follow a very similar pattern.

Even with the reduced amount of sunshine there's been this month, it's added £40 credit to my energy account thanks to the export tariff.
