Ebike headed to Morrisons this morning using the normal route towards Lidl then along the new cycle path I found the other week. That aside from avoiding any puncture causing tree roots was because of roadworks on the A59. Snag was they had moved to start exactly where I was joining, so it still was a case of wheeling the bike pass them. Even so it was quicker than the waiting queue of traffic which was still waiting as I remounted and then turned off.
The trolley app gave Morrisons as stacking Tiptree jams but none to be seen. One with use within 6 weeks bought.
Thence to Lidl primarily for pork and chicken.
Homeward from there it started spotting and crossing the Stray seemed as if it was turning heavier. Rain jacket on only for it to stop.

We have been up to our pond trying to remove some iris plants which had taken over. There were masses of roots at the bottom of the pond which we had to cut through in order to pull the plants out. We then carried loads of can of water from our water butts to refill the pond. There were some frogs which found it fascinating to see what we were doing.

A trip to the library and village coffee shop with my elderly mother was very nice.

The little pot of tea did 3 small cuppas so that's 4 I have had now .

I shall be toilet visiting this afternoon.

Picked up some jelly whales from local sweet shop .

I find that with tidying. There's a point where, whilst tidying, things are at their very worst. Just have to persevere.

I'm like a distracted cat w/ ADD, oh look! oh look! oh look! have to remind myself to stay focused, finish 1 project before starting another

at least I have an electrician coming to help with/ 1 thing today

Like myself and my lawn. I finally just hired a couple of fellows to deal with it. I like their work.

I have a bit of a problem with the 3 Musketeers!
I don't know if anyone has noticed it before but there seems to be 4 of them. They also seem to be swordsmen and don't carry muskets.
The Lone Ranger also appears to have a sidekick with him. Perhaps the titles should be amended under the Trades Description Act?

Words worth started it with Daffodils, "wandered lonely as a cloud..."No he didn't! his sister was with him.

A short coastal ride this morning followed by an LEL volunteer meetup. This afternoon has seen a visit to a continental market that wasn't continental, plus a short trip to the local town. I'm finishing with a beach walk and my accommodation is on the left [taken from a viewpoint titled "Bathing Beauties"].

After a bit of rain, what remains green on the 'lawn' has been cut. Mainly just sticky-up bits TBH.

Can I just say OUCH. Got the grass cut, had a mug of coffee and then went out on a bike ride hoping it would stay dry (spoiler - it didn't).

Coming home round the top of Ipswich, I was taken out by one of those home help/carers suddenly braking and turning across the bike lane into the front yard of a house without indicating. I've got grazed elbows and knees with the left elbow & right knee being the worst, my left thigh is fairly stiff and I'm expecting quite a bruise, while the front of my right shoulder is cut and very sore (again expecting a good bruise) where I used it to completely take out the car's nearside rear view mirror. No damage to the bike, but the right bar end put quite a scrape into the car's nearside rear wing to go with me taking out the mirror. Still managed to ride the remaining 10 miles home.
