Good morning from Suffolk where it's a bit breezy but the sunny start to the day seems to be continuing for a change - is summer returning?
Coffee has been had after a good night's sleep and a little bit of bike fettling will be done once breakfast has been had.
After that - who knows.

Completely lost sense of taste. Still can smell a bit though.

COVID?

Back from an unexpected couple of hours out. The main part of this morning's bike fettling was changing tyres on one of the fleet followed by a short test ride - or al least that was the plan. The new tyres have made such a difference to the ride comfort that I kept going and looking for known rough areas to confirm that the initial feel through the wrists & arse wasn't an illusion.
It is bloody windy though. I think I've earned an extra hot chocolate before having a shower.

I was one of the early COVID adopters, long before lockdowns and vaccines. When my sense of taste disappeared the only thing that I found still tasted as it should was orange juice. I've been really partial to orange juice since then - it's like a constant friend.
I was gnawing on the ice cream lollies at 2am to try to cool myself from 39'C body temperature because paracetamol failed to do so. These ice lollies have got orange taste. It took me half of 1st lolly to realize that hey, I can't taste it!
Just have had Kellog's Coco Pops with milk. Zero taste but texture is ok. Also noticed that although I can't taste different drinks, they all have ... different textures I'd say?
