As long as I breathe, I attack.
Trying to book a Sunday lunch. Rest of the family want carvery but mini CK 1 will only eat sausage and chips when she goes out and non that do a carvery and have spaces do that

It's been a warm and breezy day with a fair bit of high cloud here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough but feel ghastly thanks to lady issues doing the hokey cokey. Hey ho... Anyways, had a lovely morning walking around the local nature reserve with a friend and her doggos. We had fun investigating a new trail through the wood, and the dogs really enjoyed their sniffs.

Had a quick splash and dash back home, then back out to the garage in the village for Colin's MOT. Dropped the car off, and went for a nice walk to the community orchard. I picked a little bucket (~300g) of blackberries, plus some greengages and a few "Wallis' Wonder" plums and just had a nice general mooch around the reserve. It's such a lovely space, and I found a hide overlooking a pond that I didn't even know was there, so sat there for a bit, watching butterflies and dragonflies.

Car passed its MOT with only two advisories. One is worn wiper blades (easily solvable) and the other is that one of the boots on the driveshafts is split and needs replacing at some point. Can't do the latter myself, as I don't have the right tools / facilities.

Just plan on a quiet evening listening to Manchester Originals v Southern Brave.

Have you tried whether they do sausage and mash children's meals - and order two of them? From experience it's a way of making that work.

Evening. It has gone a bit grey.
We are both knackered! We took our 2 grandsons down to Weyhill to the hawk conservancy. When we got back to their house my wife asked them what was the most exciting bit of their day. Our oldest said a black, white and yellow feather he found on the ground. His younger brother followed him in saying the same thing! The feather belonged to a Finch, probably a Goldfinch. Not an Ibis, Stork, Vulture or anything like that!

Anyways, time to feed the cat, and then it will be time to feed me.

Yoghurt shortage needed resolving so, under wheres the cheapest guidance from the trolley app, the ebike found itself fastened to a cycle stand at Waitrose.
Annoyingly they were still getting rid of last weeks store paper so just one 8 pack bought as a return visit will be coming up.
