Rising of the Lights? Planet? Cut of the Stone?

One person died of piles? Just how big, and bad, were they? ^_^

Here is a handy guide for decoding these old names Old diseases

Houston Mundaners we have a problem. My local Lidl is completely out of my favourite coffee  I don't know if this is a permanent thing or if there's a rejig of the stock, but I don't want to have to retrain my taste buds to a different brand.

Other than that, the free hot chocolate has been had, although the view out to sea was absent due to cloud and sea mist and I've just had lunch of a free pain au chocolate thanks to a Lidl coupon.

And now it looks like it's flying ant day in my back garden. I've just been out to the kitchen to get another glass of squash and could see them in the air, then went for a walk round the garden and there's large clumps of them emerging from nests.

Postie delivered the clear spacers just in time as its an office day tomorrow and I have been weary of how much life is left on the 10 year old Lidl shoes. Exciting evening coming up aligning the cleats by eye adjacent an existing shoe.
Rather hot outside, 5 degrees cooler indoors.
Neighbours overground hedge tree has been chopped, assume their were no birds nests🤔

It's been a very warm and blustery, but largely overcast day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but it took me ages to get to sleep and as result, I overslept somewhat. I've had a reasonably quiet day, albeit still a reasonably busy one. I've sorted out a load of books to take to the book exchange from the stash in the garage, and I've been de-mousing and laundering dust sheets. I'm about two thirds the way through that.

I also need to work out what has happened to Min's driver side wing mirror. It has vanished into thin air (why is it always thin air?), so I had better check the pile of stuff waiting to go to the tip just in case. Mind you, it is a modern-ish plastic one, so may look to replace with something that's more period correct.

Am sat with a :cuppa: and watching the news. I shall go and water the planters in a bit despite the fact that it keeps looking like it might rain.
