I have decided to ask for a refund. I have had enough. It there was a faster postal service I would have paid for it after all I am paying the postage. I will look for alternatives.

How long have you waited? A second class packet from Norfolk took 6 days to reach me.

And yet more freebies - the Lidl app bakery spin from this morning's shop has got me a free iced doughnut next visit and the £20 Sainsbury voucher from the car insurance price comparison company has also been issued.

Edit - just as I posted this I heard an odd noise from the kitchen so went out to investigate - only to see the back end of the little black cat from the house out the back darting out of the back door. As I was up I have just made this evening's hot chocolate.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Someone on a local facefluff group is asking to borrow a bike to do a charity ride with his kid on so i offered a bike as i was in a generous mood , the one i offered is old and built out of spare bits so i am not too fussed if it gets knackered , of course i would rather it wasn’t but you never know.

Rising of the Lights? Planet? Cut of the Stone?

One person died of piles? Just how big, and bad, were they? ^_^

Could have been rectal and lower bowel cancer. As may be bloody flux. King's Evil?

You and he are some true gents. Chapeau, Sir. My charity riding days are over, now.

Another hot one. Coming out of an air conditioned office was like walking into an oven.

Another 20 miles cycled this evening. Surprising amount of traffic again tonight.

Now we have got boyracers converting petrol into noise.

I think I will listen to a bit of Dire Straits as Mark Knopfler is 76 today.

It's been a very warm and blustery, but largely overcast day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough, but it took me ages to get to sleep and as result, I overslept somewhat. I've had a reasonably quiet day, albeit still a reasonably busy one. I've sorted out a load of books to take to the book exchange from the stash in the garage, and I've been de-mousing and laundering dust sheets. I'm about two thirds the way through that.

I also need to work out what has happened to Min's driver side wing mirror. It has vanished into thin air (why is it always thin air?), so I had better check the pile of stuff waiting to go to the tip just in case. Mind you, it is a modern-ish plastic one, so may look to replace with something that's more period correct.

Am sat with a :cuppa: and watching the news. I shall go and water the planters in a bit despite the fact that it keeps looking like it might rain.
If it were thick air there's a chance it wouldn't vanish without being seen where it had gone.
