You took the wrong turn on that late night ride.

Should have turned left at Albuquerque?

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Woke up and went to the loo and i had to go and lie back down as my back seized up , i did spend maybe a couple of hours yesterday trying to get a leylandi stump out and resorted to using a drill to make a series of holes in the base as the saw the neighbour lent me which is a bit of beast was not having much luck.Im thinking the sap and wood texture were not what the saw is designed for and the drill bit was smoking like it was about to set the stump on fire with friction !
What is odd that since i had about a week and a half off cycling and weights i have come back and its like i haven’t done anything for months , cycling is hard , weights are hard , the joints have stiffened up so its a fight to get back to fitness,The only upside is the knee injury has settled down a lot more so im will have to get on with it

Speaking from experience, are we?

yeah that was a pretty funny low point when I REALLY needed coffee

It's really too warm and sticky to be doing indoor domestics. I'm having a cold drink break while waiting for the washing machine to finish the spin cycle, then the bedding can go out on the whirligig and I can do the last task which is steam mopping the kitchen floor.

I've also had a call back from the gutter cleaning company and the price given is lower than I'd budgeted for therefore they've been booked for next week. The gap between their quote and my budgeted amount is roughly the cost of a ticket to Silverstone on Sunday and the diesel for the round trip so it looks like I may be away for the day.
