I don't know what's going on, but I saw two very large display type fireworks somewhere over Felixstowe about five minutes ago and nothing else since.

Sister's card was dropped off and I had a half hour catch up with her this afternoon while having to make a constant fuss of her loopy dog. Since then very little has been done other than to prepare the food for Sunday's day out.
Hot chocolate time next and possibly an early night for a change

There was a short, modest burst of fireworks here earlier this evening too. I can't think of anything other than coincidence, because it wasn't big and we're not twinned with Felixstowe.

Good morning from sunny Suffolk. Up ad about early ahead of the drive to Silverstone in about half an hour. Only a small coffee has been had with the drive being over two hours.
A small bowl of porridge will be nuked for breakfast, then the kettle will be boiled for a flask of coffee, the cold drink made and the cool bag packed and I'm off.

That was brilliant. The support acts were great too. Pleased I went for them all. It was in a huge circus tent with much more capacity than I had expected.

The downside of standing concerts for me nowadays is my ankle gets pretty sore standing in one place.

I always arrive in time to catch the support act - there's been some brilliant ones as well as others where another half hour in the pub would have been much more preferable.
