I always arrive in time to catch the support act - there's been some brilliant ones as well as others where another half hour in the pub would have been much more preferable.

I usually do too. I just haven't been to many gigs that had support acts in a long time. You've paid for it, so you might as well see them, and today's support act is potentially tomorrow's stars.

What surprised me is how many people were just sitting outside drinking when the support acts were playing. If you're there, you may as well go in and see them.

Sunny start contrary to the weather forecast. Washing hung out, coffee then the ebike found itself for once in the company of three other bikes at the Sainsbury's bike stands.
The Elemnt Bolt was a pain both ways, kept on losing the satellite. Never known it this bad, wondering if its dying. Also on the return came up with a Jan 2006 date.
IT issues in Sainsbury's as the Nectar app prices were not showing but those items with bonus points were.

Runner Bean soup for lunch today. I had to sieve it through the colander a couple of times after i liquidized it this morning as there were so many fibres it tasted like I was eating a palias!

4.30 this morning i was woken up by the kids messing about , they were chucking dirty clothes about out of the wash basket and spraying each other with something so i was not impressed .Got up at 5.30 as im at work to be greeted by a bowl full of dirty plates etc and a mess over the worktop ,looks like they had been down in the night making chips .As mini ck 1 has kidney disease she is not supposed to eat anything made of potatoes without soaking to remove pottasium with the occasional treat but she doesnt give a monkeys and eats what she likes behind our back all the time leading to a faster decline in kidney function.
5 hours at work today then got home just in time for sunday lunch where i made it very clear that if this behaviour carries on then one of us will be moving out and tbh i really dont care if its me as i have had enough of it but no apparently i am getting on at her even though she done nothing wrong by her standards .
FIL was here at the time and hes always defending the bad behaviour because he doesnt have to lie with the pretty constant snide remarks and backstabbing and now mrs ck is whining about it to me .

Evening.
Yesterday we spotted Georgie playing with something on the lawn. I went to investigate but át first I didn't see what it was. I just thought he was playing with some dried leaves. I then spotted a female Emperor Dragonfly. I picked it up and placed it in a tree hoping it might recover, I went back later to find a wasp eating it, I tried swiping it away but it was a persistent bu99er so I left it. This morning I found the Dragonfly it was very not very well. The wasp had eaten hole into the side it.
