Hong Kongers are famed for taping up windows when a typhoon hits. One guy took it a bit further. ^_^

Cling film would have looked neater, and have been stronger.

Another nice day. Deceptively warm for the time year too, a change from yesterday which was actually quite chilly.

Not a nice day at work at all. I had to call a customer to follow up on a complaint letter, and it turned out the customer had died suddenly on Sunday morning. I was talking to her partner of 47 years, but what do you say apart from sorry to hear that? Not something I want to happen again.

I touched up a few rusty spots on my Townsend MTB after work with black enamel before going to my dance class.

Had to go down to the daughter of the deceased next door neighbour as their grandson who still lives in the house atm till the new lot move in as they have just sold the house has been acting rather odd these last few months and we have had various bits of food slung over the back fence and yesterday we found a smashed porcelain doll on the front that seems to have come from that direction on the camera footage .

Good morning from Suffolk where it's another bright and sunny start to the day although the trees the other side of the rail line are swaying quite a bit thanks to a stiff north easterly breeze.

Coffee has been had and the overnight bag has been placed by the front door ready for today's away day which will start in about an hour's time when I leave for the train station. As Octopus have updated my energy bill, I have put in a request for some of the excess credit to be returned to my bank account for a bit of fun spending money, but it will still leave £400 credit for winter heating once the direct debit is credited at the start of October.
