It's been another bright and sunny but rather blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, warm where sheltered, chilly where not.
Slept well, but still feel so tired. And that despite a solid nine hours of kip. I had a gentle morning puttering about in the garden. The main task was to trim my sage bush. The trimmings were divided up - the nice big leaves were frozen, and the smaller leaves were spread out to dry. I also took some cuttings, but whether anything will come of those, who knows...
My mint, oregano and chives will also be cut back and dried, and the remaining basil will probably end up in pesto.
Madam Lexi has had a good day. She came downstairs and demanded a) her brekkie and b) to be let out. She spent much of the day in the garden, where her main focus was guarding the de-husked walnuts that I'd spread out to dry. And then she bum parked in the box I'd used for the sage clippings, and spent the afternoon dozing in her kitty sun lounger.
I then went off for a gentle bicycular bimble in the company of Wiggy #2, the Chartres - only about three miles or so, but it was just lovely to get out for some fresh air.
Am now sat down with a

and contemplating what to cook for supper.
