Grey and damp here. It looks like it rained in the night.

We had bad news yesterday. My daughter's cat had to go back to the vets as his problem came back. They kept him in overnight, he seemed to have perked up a bit and my daughter fed him some bits of chicken but she said that he had gone blind. They are not sure if he will regain it or not. His medication will cost £100 a week. My daughter has had a really bad year, breast cancer and now her baby is ill!

If I had done just one of my early morning loops I would have been home in the dry but I decided to go further.

Anything automotive from Japan from the last 30 years that can pop bang and whistle was heading to Santa pod this morning.

Must have spotted 50+ impreza's and Mitsubishi evo's then quite a few little square boxes on wheels possibly Cubes

Just been getting my suitcase ready for my holiday with my dad this coming Thursday.
I thought I would get it done today because I'm working the first part of the week and time seems to be really short.
I'm glad I did because it's been well over 20 years since I've had a holiday and I've lost the code for the combination lock for the suitcase.
It's taken me 40 minutes to crack it, starting at three zeros and eventually finding it somewhere around 800 and something.
Strangely satisfying managing to crack it 😂

Heavy rain and spray from the Spaldwick junction area of the A14 down to Wellingborough and just grotilly damp from then on. Made it just in time for the first race of the day.

Predictation was a hour or so of rain overnight. They got that wrong judging by the size of some puddles this morning.
Sun now out and car to the other Co-op and Waitrose.
Co-op have, for members, their excellent dark orange chocolate down to £2.25 while Waitrose had two packs of yellow label scones which are now in the freezer.
Had to use the latters first floor car park.
A depressing place surrounded by ventilation equipment and the metal framework supporting the upper parts of the false roof sides; the car park has no roof. Really could do with some cladding with murals on them to liven the place up
Then on the staircase a flickering light made it seem even more utilitarian.
The store was originally a Safeway which Morrisons had to sell when they acquired Safeway.
