Overcast sky has replaced the clear sky we had when I left for my ride.

I watched the programme about brains last night. It is interesting how brains developed. It is interesting how our ancestors must have developed over time. Our young babies are pretty useless like young birds, puppies and kittens not being able to run around after being born a couple of minutes like a Wildebeest. Our babies can't cling on to their parents like monkeys can. That's not helped by us not having much body hair. I Wonder if our ancestors made nests and when did we start losing body hair?

I find it odd that some new born creatures can immediately walk etc and others not

Plainly evolution took a partly wrong turning or is it degree of threat which means sone do need to be able to move?

Predators seem to take longer to develop than prey. Some birds are up and looking for food minutes after hatching. It is amazing !

Good morning from a 5th floor hotel room in mostly cloudy Sheffield where today's view is of Ponds Forge sports centre the other side of the tram line.

The usual post large cooked breakfast rest is being had before I check out. With about an hour and a quarter before my train leaves, there's plenty of time for a walk around.

Last night a neighbour from 2 houses down came around and told me someone has been phoning the council in my name and getting new bins sent to her house, so far she has had 14!! .She showed me the email the council sent her with my name , the wife's name and variations on the theme questioning why so many bins.
Over the last few months we have both had food waste slung into our back garden from the alley so I phoned the police and reported it and they are sending someone around and also told me to report it to environmental health.
Mini CK 1 was crying as it really upset her and wants to move but realistically we can't afford to given my age as I couldn't get enough money to make it worth moving.
