At work again for a bit of peace and quiet away from the Mrs and kids... Not riding this weekend as I am seeing the consultant tomorrow about my ongoing knee issues.

I normally have a number of “alerts” when I open up Cycle Chat, but none have appeared this morning.
Is this a fault with the site, or have I done something wrong? Any help appreciated.

Made it to Stowmarket on time, but only just. It's somewhere I only ever cycle or take the train to which makes it difficult to work out the drive time.

And on approach to Bury St. Edmonds the sun has appeared for the first time in a week.

Thanks for that. Your reply did show up on my alerts, so looks like it is working. Could I have accidentally cancelled getting alerts somehow, as I normally have about 10-15 alerts each morning? This morning there were none.

I think I was missing a few when I came online (laptop) earlier today. It seems to be working normally now though.

Two hours by coach from Ely to Peterborough - I've cycled it in three! Thanks to the state of the roads (subsidence) there was a possibility of sea sickness due to the bouncing and rocking.
