Pre work exercise today was a swift walk around the block.
Workmen are back nextdoor on the rear garden makeover.
Damp underfoot but not raining.
Anyone else tried measuring the suggested daily serving of cereals it's a lot less than my daily serving and probably answers why they don't last as long

Morning.
It has brightened up a bit and has stopped raining. It is still grey though and likely to rain again.
I haven't watched the GP yet but I was informed of the results by the Beeb.

Alerts still not working properly

I’m still in the same boat. The only alerts that are working for me are for threads where I’ve posted something since I discovered the problem.
So what I’m doing is to seek out the threads I used to get alerts for, and post any comment on them. I’m hoping I’ll then get alerts on said threads as in the past.
It‘s annoying, but not life threatening!!

Good morning from a 4th floor hotel room in an overcast and still damp Sheffield. Today's view is exactly the same as from about a week and a half ago except for being 1 floor lower - I'm directly below the room I had earlier in the month.

Thankfully my jeans had dried out by the time I went down for breakfast, but the shower proof jacket has been binned as useless - I'll be keeping an eye out for a cheap packable hooded waterproof as a replacement.

The first of the homebound trains leaves in about an hour and I must remember to get off at Stowmarket rather than continuing on to home.

Couldn't get to sleep till gone 1 am due to loads of stuff going on ATM and as I was up at 3.45 I'm surviving on coffee .

Ah, so perhaps if I post this, I'll now get an alert for this thread.

I got a like alert but nothing for the next reply. It seems to be a one alert only system and once the alert has been done, that's all there is.

Meanwhile, from rain to sunshine and back to rain. I'm going to have to switch the light back on as it's gone very dark here.

My preferred weather app, Wunderground, wouldn't start up on my mobile this morning.

Guessing it's related to Amazon Web Services failure, affecting many apps, the end of the world is nigh... Meh!
