I think I've finally caught up with everything apart from the last 15 laps of yesterday's Grand Prix (although I did listen to it on the Brighton-London train this morning). The ticket for Sunday has been purchased and the evening's hot chocolate has just been made.

As an aside, what's people's experience of the longevity of gas boilers - mine's being serviced in late November and, while checking it prior to probably having to fire it up for central heating tomorrow, I found out that it's 20 years since it was installed.

We have a mackerel sky here but cloud to the north and south. There are puddles so I assume it rained in the night.

I seem to have had a bit of bad luck with bike recently. I tripped and fell on my frame denting the frame, the other day I lost my rear light. I thought I had 3 incidents but can't think what the 3rd one is!
